Care & Instructions Usage Instructions Fill water reservoir with water. Seat the plastic plug into the hole in cap. Screw cap snugly onto filled water tank. Be careful not to cross thread. Locate a dry, flat area to place base of waterer. Set water tank onto base. The spike in the center of the base will dislodge the plug in the cap of the tank and automatically fill the water base. Refilling For refilling, quickly turn over the water reservoir. Minimal water discharge will occur if done quickly. Empty contents from tank, rinse, and refill as necessary. Cleaning your K&H Waterer To keep your K&H Waterer clean and free from buildup, follow these simple steps: Prepare the Cleaning Solution: Add hot water to the waterer bottle. Add 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda. Pour in 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar. Add a handful of small, smooth rocks to the bottle. These will help scrub away any debris during cleaning.
